Founded in 2013 by Sean Livingston, a seasoned expert with 14 years of experience in the cabinetry industry, Livingston Cabinetry stands as a beacon of craftsmanship and innovation. Sean’s passion for working with unique materials and textures drives him to create unparalleled designs, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in custom cabinetry and furniture.

At Livingston Cabinetry, we thrive on tackling projects that others deem impossible. Sean’s vision and expertise combined with the support of our shop manager, Morrah, who has been an integral part of the team for 4 years, opens up endless possibilities for remarkable creations. Beyond professional colleagues, Sean and Morrah are best friends, bringing a seamless blend of talent, friendship, and passion into their work.

Having started from humble beginnings building cabinets in his basement, then in a small shop he built in his backyard, and now in their new 3000sf facility, Sean knew what it was like to start from nothing and build a business up. He also knew the difficulties any new business would face trying to do the same. That’s why he opened his shop up to a membership program where members can book time in the shop and have full access to all of the shop machinery and tools to build whatever they want. He wants to see other small woodworking businesses thrive and get a jump start on growing, and knows the financial costs associated with renting and outfitting a fully loaded wood shop. At Framework Studios, members are encouraged to sell the things they make here and to grow their businesses to the point where members can turn their side hustles into their full time careers.
